	The Blues Rolls On - Delta Groove Music Elvin Bishop The more we listened to this CD, the more we wanted to listen to it. The vibe is infectious! With a  truck load of special guests, Elvin steers the way through movin' and groovin' tunes that overflow with Blues and R&B authenticity - and a whole lotta' fun! One of our favs is the Roy Milton tune, "Keep a Dollar in Your Pocket," with B.B. King helping out on guitar. The entire CD is a masterwork of the Blues. Give it a listen.
	Pay Me No Mind - NorthernBlues Music The Homemade Jamz Blues Band Hmmm - There can be no doubt that the future of the Blues is secure. This CD showcases the great musicianship of "The Youngest Blues Band in America." It is a tribute to these kids, (and we reluctantly use that characterization), that they honor the art form so, well, yes artfully! The guitar playing is hot and the rhythm section is cooking - a solid effort and an honest production. Just the way we like it.
	Sum' Mo' Chikan - Vizztone Label Group Super Chikan Feeling a little bit Blue? Thoughts straying to the downside of life? Then put on this CD, and get ready for a rollicking good time! This disc is filled with upbeat foot tappin' music that will get you feeling good, and movin' to the groove. A fantastic CD with great tunes, great vocals and spot on guitar. We put this one on our CD player for the usual first "Sound Impression," and couldn't stop listening for weeks! It passed the test with flying colors. Don't miss this one!
	The Rebound -Independent Jon Justice This disc of all original tunes is brimming with great melodies, hooks galore, engaging guitar riffs and Jon's own brand of Blues rooted rhythm and rock. The superb band, backup vocals and great arrangements further enhance the listener's pleasure. Jon has followed his earlier release, "Forget About Time," with a stellar line up of new material that demonstrates that great musicians just keep getting better. Keep em' coming, Jon.
DVD	Live at the North Atlantic Blues Festival - Benjamin Productions & Juke Joint Video Billy Gibson The 2005 Beale Street Entertainer of the Year is at his best on this artfully captured performance of his 2007 appearance at the North Atlantic Blues Festival. It is always a treat to listen to Billy, but seeing and hearing him live is the pinnacle of enjoyment for Blues fans everywhere. And this performance, in front of thousands, demonstrates his ability to capture and enthrall an audience with his incendiary and captivating persona. We love this entire DVD, but the tour de force, Polk Salad Annie, is one hell of a show! Buy it today!
	No Paid Holidays - NorthernBlues Music Watermelon Slim and The Workers This multiple Blues Music Award nominee and this year's recipient for the Album of the Year and Band of the Year, has released another honest and refreshing testament to the Blues. It is rare in today's market to find a performer that holds tradition so dear, and performs the music so well, that it comes across as something totally new and unique. The honesty is there in abundance and so is the joy of listening to a band and frontman that understands the Blues better than most contemporary artists today. If you want to hear some real Blues, performed the way it should be, look and listen no further.

It wasn't so long ago that we could go to a Blues jam in Boston and see the young teenage performer hold his own with anyone on the stage. Now, he commands the stage. This CD brings home the fact the Mike Welch has arrived. His vocals, as well as his guitar playing, speak volumes in terms of his confidence and maturity as a consumate Bluesman. And unlike many young Bluesmen, he keeps a firm footing in the tradition of Real Blues.

Filled with original tunes that feature great melodies, wonderful guitar and catchy hooks, the songs are about everyday living and highlight the humor in life and relationships.
